well roland hope all is going well over in TX, had a fuckin' ace time at the slipnot show in reading, they tore the place apart..put it this way, the pit was like going for 200 yards away from the stage. Got a few pics, but i was too far back, as i fucked myself up crowdsurfing during Amen, and was in too much fucking pain.

Okay it has just been confirmed that im going to dj on my skool (southgate skool townie district of north london) radio...and i will be playing proper music, not any of this townie dance crap which is drilled into our ears from the numerous amouts of walkmans that they all wear. I am risking my life in doing this slot, cause we'd most prob get the shit beaten outta us!
The only problem is we can only play songs with no swearing or blasphemous material, so our songs that we can use are limited! we're gonna be playing a mixture of, indie, punk, rock, and metal.
Im not sure what the frequency would be, but if it is the same as last year it will be 87.7FM, and me and a few friends will be on at 1:30pm-3pm (GMT) 8:30am-10am (Eastern) 7:30am-9am (central) 6:30am-8am (pacific)
You will only be able to recieve the station if you live in north london, in the enfield, oakwood, barnet, winchmore hill, palmers green, cockfosters area. But if you cant get it you can listen to it on the net, with which i will post details down below. I hope to hear from you, and if you can phone in to speak to us!

LISTEN TO SSRFM ON THE INTERNET

1.Log onto www.radiodestiny.com
2.At their homepage click on 'start listening'
3.Download and install, 'destiny media player' -this is a small file and takes about a minute' follow the instructions. You have to do this only once.
4.Click on 'station browser'
5.Find 'SSRFM' on the station list under 'contempory' and click (NB this will only appear on 15th may)
6.You should now be listening to the 'SSRFM' output
7.If the station doesnt play immediatly. Click on 'play' and you may have to wait for your computer to 'buffer'. This should only take a few seconds.

Hey guys it's me again. I talked to the White rabbit and they said they aren't taking any new bands until February because they're building a new place. However, if you guys send me like 3 demo tapes I will send one to 99.5 kiss (they promote local bands from around Tx), Tejano Texas( don't laugh Coal Chamber played there last week), and another college station SAC that promotes local metal bands. If you guys could get in with Tejano Texas you might be able to play there. Another thing I'll do is my academic advisor runs a local Metal T.V. show every Saturday night where he gets local bands to go on the show and play. I know that Messhugah(sp?) has played there before and a lot of well known bands have been on there too. It's to my knowledge that the T.V. show is still running and maybe he could even sweet talk the guy at White Rabbit to let you guys play. Send me the demos and I'll try to get something started. Nikki should have my address. I can try to call Tejano Texas for you guys to see if they're interested just let me know so e-mail me back. Bye!!!

Hey you guys, there is a metal fest this weekend in San Antonio. It's on the 5th and 6th and there is supposed to be over 100 local kickass metal bands. Some of the headliners are Danzig and Morbid Angel. I can't remember the other ones. I haven't talked to anyone from the White Rabbit yet because my ride got in a car accident but I'm going to try to call tonight. If not I'll just find a way to get there by Thursday. If you guys can go to the metal fest you might meet some bands around here that could hook you up or something. The only bad thing is that it's like 35 bucks per ticket. It's at the Live Oak Civic Center. Keep in touch and I'll try to get matters taken care of by Thursday.
